People I met on a trip
polyester cloth, Korean traditional cloth, versatile rope , iron rod and 70.86 ×137.79 in ,180×350 cm ,pencil on the paper15.35 ×21.25 in, 39×54 cm per each × 7pice
A pencil drawing that realistically depicts people I met on a trip stored in my camera.
It's my own way of narrowing the distance between strangers in a strange place, drawing them in detail one by one I don't know. Also, Sometimes it is helpful to remember people and places by excluding my feelings and interpretations as much as possible and portraying the person as he is. I collected all the drawings and printed them on a cotton cloth, put some of my emotional touches on them, and hung them like clothes. Washing the fading memories again and dry them in the sun, I recall the past travels and dream of another trip to come.

Flying tower
Marker, watercolor on the wall, 149.60× 196.85in , 380×500cm
It is a mural that expresses the pleasure of travel. This work, which expresses my favorite subject, travel, through an illustration which is an area of greatest interest, is the conclusion of all my works. So I wanted to leave it as a mural on a large scale. I engraved the meaning and joy of the travel one by one, and put the laundry and me in the bath on the top. Travel is a bath that refreshes me and it's like a clean laundry process. The faces of people hanging like balloons on the tails of all the happy images here are comical. All of them are whom I met at the travel. With the memory of them, the flying tower of my trip flies happily in the sky.

Whale doll
kinds of cotton cloth ,wire , wood stick, drawing paper ,fishing line ,plastic basket, 65.74 × 89.76 in , 167×228 cm
Having been afraid of whales, I learned how to overcome my fears through my whale dream. It was made in a large size to express the uncomfortable feeling of overwhelming size, but on the other hand it was a lovely-looking doll. Anyone who sees this whale will feel more familiar than afraid. The scary whale becomes a lovely and familiar animal like a doll in my work and leaves with me a challenge. Overcoming my fears and at the end of our journey with the whale, we will pick up the stars.
